In 1986 the Chernobyl nuclear power plant exploded. Radioactive fallout was carried by the wind and fell over parts of Sweden. Traces still remain in the ground and in the collective consciousness.

Autoradiograph experiments
Darkroom experiments with large format film and samples of mushrooms and plants collected near Lake Hillesjön, Gävle Municipality. The samples were dried and placed together with the film in light-tight bags. Exposure time: 8.5–10 months.
